Spherical lenses

Vision Engineering supplies custom optical lenses which may consist of single or multiple elements (doublets etc), made to perform to different functions, ranging from simple collection of light to precise imaging.

Custom lenses are available from 3.5mm to 250mm diameter, with surface quality up to 10-5 scratch-dig. Tight tolerances throughout, with supreme durability and a range of coatings, means the best suitability for each application can be created to meet with specification requirements.

Optical Lenses may be made to high precision or commercial quality.

Prisms

Custom optical prisms are made to perform to different functions, ranging from simple collection of light to precise imaging and could be made to precision or commercial quality.

Optical prisms can be made to a ‘high precision’ with extremely tight tolerances or ‘commercial’ standard, to fit a wider range of everyday applications.

Mirrors

The mirrors are available in a range of shapes and sizes, have high reflectivity for broad spectral range and are low polarizing (10000:1) properties enhancing contrast while minimizing glare, and are made in accordance with customers’ requirements.

Speciality optical mirrors can be designed with a variety of reflective coatings, including multi-layers, enhanced aluminium or protected silver, gold and dielectric.

Beam splitter

The beamsplitter function is to split an optical path into two or more paths by percentage control of overall intensity.

Vision Engineering provides plate or cube, pellicle, polka dot or speciality prism beam splitters, in a wide range of anti-reflection coatings or substrates for image, laser and illumination systems.

Optical windows & stage glass

Optical windows & stage glass are optical glass with polished faces that are relatively parallel and are typically used as a protective element between two environments. They can be supplied uncoated or with an anti-reflection coating in a range of sizes.
